Need for Speed ProStreet PSP

Need for Speed: ProStreet is the 11th installment of Electronic Arts popular racing game series Need for Speed. On May 21, 2007, Electronic Arts published a teaser trailer of ProStreet, and officially announced it ten days later. It was released worldwide in November 2007. It was partially based as American Le Mans Series cars. ProStreet was the first PlayStation 3 game with DualShock 3 rumble support.

The demo, featuring two races, one speed challenge and one grip race, appeared on Xbox Live on October 26, 2007, on PlayStation Store on November 1, 2007, and on PC on November 2, 2007. The PC version is the last in the series to use CD-ROMs, which are succeeded by the usage of DVDs for the rest of the series. ProStreet is preceded by Need for Speed: Carbon and is followed by Need for Speed: Undercover.

Although the game was commercialized heavily and had multiple teaser trailers and demos, the game was met with universally negative reviews, especially for Playstation 2, and is considered one of the worst games of the franchise.

Need for Speed Carbon Own the City PSP

The gameplay is based upon rival street racing crews. Players run a crew and can hire specific street racers to be in their crew and the active friendly racer is known as a wingman. Each hirable street racer has two skills, one which is a racing skill (scout, blocker, and drafter) and a non-race skill (fixer, mechanic, and fabricator). Each skill has different properties from finding hidden alleys/back streets (shortcuts) to reducing police attention. Cars driven by the wingmen are also different; blockers drive muscles, drafters drive exotics and scouts drive tuners (although the first two unlockable wingmen (Neville (Played by Chris Gauthier)and Sal) drive cars according to the player's chosen car class at the start of the game). In career mode, players have to race tracks and win to conquer territories and face off against bosses to conquer districts. Also, sometimes the minor crews (Black Hearts and Kings, who drive exotics, Inferno and Los Colibres, who drive muscles, and Rotor 4 and Scorpios, who drive tuners), might attack the player's owned races. The player can then either accept the challenge, and keep the race if they win it, or decline, in which case, the minor crew will automatically take over the race.

Shrek Smash n Crash Racing PSP

Shrek Smash and Crash is a karting video game. The players first must pick from a line-up of thirteen different characters from the Shrek universe. The maximum number of racers on a track at any one time is six. Each of the characters have special stats that are not displayed in the game. Any other non-player racers will be controlled by the computer and chosen at random. Then, the player has the option to pick the track or cup tournament they want to play on. Once the track is chosen, then the race will begin. The objective of the races is to win in first place. On the tracks are item barrels that contains items inside of them. The items are used as an advantage to help the racer out. The tracks are also filled with obstacles and short-cuts that can either help or harm the racers. On the track, characters also have a special item that can be used to attack other karts or obstacles. If another racer is hit by a special item then they will spin out. The characters also can jump to avoid obstacles or reach other parts of the track. The racer that wins first place in either tournament mode or a regular race then gets to the trophy.

MX vs. ATV Reflex PSP

The core focus of the game allows for the player to race motocross and supercross on motocross bikes or ATVs. The game also includes events such as omnicross, free ride, champion sport track, waypoint racing, and freestyle motocross.

Although the game is part of the MX vs. ATV series, Reflex was built from the ground up featuring a new control scheme and physics engine. The new control scheme is labeled "reflex" which utilizes both analog sticks. The left analog controls the handlebars while the right analog stick controls the rider's body movement. The reflex system allows for unprecedented control and manipulation by allowing the player to 'ride' the motorcycle and other vehicles as they actually would. Tricks have been simplified from the previous games as the player only needs to hold the modifier button and use the right stick to make different combinations and flips.

Pursuit Force PSP

Pursuit Force is a video game for the PlayStation Portable. It puts the player in the role of a police agent who joins up to a law enforcement agency known as the Pursuit Force, to restore order to a city overrun with crime. This elite unit specialises in direct armed encounters with adversaries, whether it be on foot or on the bonnet of a speeding car. The player has to try to seize cars and motorbikes while engaging in gun battles at speeds of over 150 miles per hour (240 km/h). It is set in fictional Capital State (which includes Capital City) in America where there are various criminal gangs to contend with.

Crazy Taxi – Fare Wars PSP

Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars combines both Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2 with new features that allow players to interact with their opponents in brand new ways unseen on other systems. Giving players the ability to play wirelessly with other PSP systems nearby through Ad Hoc or game sharing. Players can ram their opponent's cab to steal their fare or use the new interference feature to make them crash or slow down their fare delivery time.

Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars gives users the ability to record about 80 seconds of gameplay footage and then transfer it to a computer for media uses. Another feature unseen in previous Crazy Taxi games is the ability to play any MP3 files stores on a memory stick, in the game. Almost all of the sound effects have been re-recorded and are completely different than older versions of Crazy Taxi.

Cars 2

In Cars 2, a third-person racing-game, players have a choice of 25 different characters and train to become world-class spies. As part of training, players participate in missions using high-tech gadgets, for example, to avoid enemies or slow them down.

The game has three types of trophies: bronze, silver and gold. Points are awarded at different values depending on what type of vehicle class players use. The game characters are divided into three weight-classes: heavy, medium and light. Players can unlock new cars, tracks and missions by collecting emblems. Drop-in/drop-out multiplayer modes support up to four players simultaneously.

Asphalt: Urban GT 2

The gameplay of Urban GT 2 is often compared to Burnout, Need for Speed and other titles as players can eliminate opponents by bumping through them, and evade or take down police cars.There is a wanted meter which determines the awareness level of the police, much like the wanted level system in Grand Theft Auto - if the red "WANTED" light flashes, it usually means that the players must do what it takes to avoid the police - otherwise they might be forced to pull over and lose their money.
